Simon Jenner
Even as a school boy Simon was a budding entrepreneur running a car washing business at the age of 12 progressing to a tuck shop business by the age of 16.
Simon studied IT at university and started his career working for BT's research & development division. After a few years working for large enterprises the entrepreneurial bug was back. Aged 26, he started Trinity Security Services, an IT security professional services company. Trinity delivered IT security solutions to customers such as Cadbury Schweppes, Bank of England, RSPB and Tesco. A successful exit of Trinity via trade sale took place in 2008. In 2008 Simon launched Adventures in Business, a vehicle for creating, investing and supporting new entrepreneurial start-ups. Simon is now involved in multiple business start-ups including inbizvest.com which matches entrepreneurs and business angel investors. For the last 3 years Simon has been working with young entrepreneurs in the West Midlands by volunteering as a business mentor for the Princes Trust.
In 2009 Simon was inducted into the "Courvoisier The Future 500 network". Created in 2007, Courvoisier The Future 500 network is an exclusive network of rising business stars across the country. Inductees are selected by a panel of independent, expert judges from the business realm and Observer newspaper.
In 2009, frustrated by the lack of support for entrepreneurs in Birmingham compared to other major UK cities, Simon launched Entrepreneurs Birmingham a support group.
When not working, Simon's love for high-risk, high-adventure has seen him climb Mt Blanc, Mt Kilimanjaro, run half marathons and take part in numerous adventure races.
Simon is now working with new businesses across various markerts. You can see more details of these businesses here...
